The Coupons.com app has earned another award — the W³ Award for Best Mobile App in the shopping category. The app was among more than 5,000 entries; W³ honors the best and most creative mobile apps, videos, websites, social content and marketing programs. Other winners include AccuWeather, Home Depot, DoorDash and Sam’s Club.
The awards were judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an assembly of media professionals that include executives from Conde Nast, Microsoft and MTV Networks.
This is the third award the Coupons.com app has won this year. In May, it won the MediaPost Appy Award for best marketing, branding and advertising app; it also won the Best Mobile App award for best design.
Quotient completely redesigned its Coupons.com app and released it in January. The new app, which focuses on digital paperless coupons, makes it possible for shoppers to manage their savings at multiple retailers through a single app. The app also added receipt-scanning so that shoppers can scan receipts with their phones to get cash back at stores such as Walmart that don’t yet have paperless coupon programs.
