Three Non-Food Categories Advance onto List of Top Coupons for May

Mountain View, Calif. – June 18, 2010 – Three non-food categories advanced onto the Top Ten list of most popular online printable coupon categories for May, according to Coupons.com, the leader in digital coupons. More specifically, Baby Products, Deodorant/Antiperspirant and Over the Counter (OTC) Drugs advanced to the No. 3, 7 and 9 spots, indicating a notable shift as April’s Top Ten list consisted exclusively of food categories.

“Coupons for non-food products, such as baby care, personal care, OTC drugs—even entertainment products—are increasingly popular. Consumers are realizing that coupon savings are available for products across the grocery store, aisle after aisle,” said Steven Boal, CEO of Coupons.com Incorporated.

Ready-to-Eat Cereal retained the top position in May. Lunch Meats advanced three positions to the No. 2 spot. Baking Supplies-Desserts, Fruit Juice and Soup took the No. 4, 5, and 6 spots, respectively. Yogurt declined 6 positions to the No. 8 spot, while Pasta & Noodles rounded out the Top Ten.

In order, the top ten categories are Ready-to-Eat Cereal, Lunch Meats, Baby Products, Baking Supplies-Desserts, Fruit Juice, Soup, Deodorant/Antiperspirant, Yogurt, Over the Counter (OTC) Drug and Pasta & Noodle
