The fight for equality and justice is all of ours. While we know that we can and will do more, effective immediately we will give a portion of our profits from Coupons.com printable coupons to organizations that are committed to fighting hate, driving equality, and combatting social injustice.
We’ll begin by donating to these two organizations focused on youth-related anti-bias and social justice education, and challenging racial and economic injustice and protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable.
Southern Poverty Law Center
SPLC’s Teaching Tolerance program gives educators free resources that emphasize anti-bias and social justice. Teachers, administrators, counselors, and others who work with children from kindergarten through high school receive classroom lessons, webinars, grants, podcasts, policy guides, and much more to supplement their curriculum, which helps to build inclusive school communities where all children are welcome, respected, and valued. This anti-bias approach encourages youth to challenge prejudice and learn how to be agents of change.
Equal Justice Initiative
EJI is a nonprofit organization that provides legal representation to people who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons. Working closely with communities that have been marginalized by poverty and disheartened by inequality, Equal Justice Initiative is committed to change the narrative about race in America. Founded in 1989 by Bryan Stevenson, an acclaimed public interest lawyer and author of “Just Mercy,” they help to educate the public about America’s history of racial injustice through a variety of channels.
We believe that lasting change begins with education, and we’re proud to stand with and support these organizations in their missions to enlighten, educate, and reform.
